Two concerned community groups will be holding a demonstration outside the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority's annual general meeting.
Representatives with Extinction Rebellion Niagara and For Our Kids Niagara will set up outside the meeting at Balls Falls at 8:45 this morning.
The protestors say they are trying to ensure Dave Bylsma is not re-elected as chairperson of the NPCA due to his connections with the Christian Heritage Party.
He is the national president of CHP, a group that deems man made climate change 'a hoax.'
Bylsma, however, has said the NPCA supports climate strike action around the world, but officials with For Our Kids Niagara, say words are not enough.
