NPCA Board votes to extend contract of CAO

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is extending the contract of their CAO and SecretaryTreasurer.
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is extending the contract of their CAO and Secretary-Treasurer.
Gayle Wood was hired in February on a five month contract, but at the July monthly meeting, the board of directors voted to extend her contract until December 31st, 2019.
Some of Wood's priorities over the last five months have included improving working relationships with municipalities and MPPs and improving community and media relations.
Last week Niagara Regional Council voted to add three more councillors to the NPCA board.
