A Niagara Regional Police officer charged with attempted murder in a cop-on-cop shooting will be back in court in May.
Detective Sergeant Shane Donovan's lawyer was in court today and had the case put over until May 9th.
The officer, who has been with the NRP for 20 years, is accused of shooting a Constable in Pelham last November.
Constable Nathan Parker was taken to hospital with serious injuries in the shooting.
Last month, we learned the Special Investigations Unit had arrested and charged Donovan with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon.
Donovan wasn't in court in person today.
He has been suspended with pay from the NRPS.
