If you found a drone under the tree Niagara Regional Police reminding you to brush up on the regulations around flying it.
The warning comes after one fell in front of a moving police cruiser yesterday afternoon on Martindale Road and the South Service Road in St. Catharines.
Among the "dos" make sure you can always see it, and respect people's privacy - don't take pictures without permission.
On the Don't list - stay away from any airports or helipads and don't fly near moving vehicles.
Police seized an APEX X100 that fell in front of them yesterday but could not locate the operator.
No injuries were reported from the mishap.
