Police are searching for a suspect in an armed holdup of a Thorold convience store.
A lone man entered the Avondale on St. Davids Road just after 9:30 last night armed with a weapon, demanding cash.
The suspect is described as white, in his late 20's, about 6 feet tall with a slim build.
He had his face covered wore black pants and a black and orange biker style jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
