Niagara Regional Police advising motorists to watch out for deer.
NRP say this is the time of year when deer are very active especially at sunrise and sunset.
Yesterday a police patrol car from Fort Erie, struck a deer around 8:30 in the morning on the QEW in the town.
Police say the officer was not injured and was able to safely slow down from 100 km/h.
The deer unfortunately did not survive.
