Members of the Niagara Regional Police have left this morning as they get set to honour fallen heroes in the annual Ride to Remember.
The annual Ride to Remember kicks off tomorrow from the Ontario Police College in Alymer and will conclude on Saturday at the Canadian Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial in Ottawa.
Participants will cycle more than 700 kilometres in honour of those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their community
Members of the Ride to Remember team will also meet up with the National Police and Peace Officers’ Run to Remember at the Police Memorial at Queen's Park on Thursday for a breif ceremony.
A service will take place at Parliament Hill on Sunday.
