Niagara Regional Police officials say they seized more than $87,400 in illegal drugs as part of a trafficking investigation.
Officers have been investigating suspected drug trafficking from a home in the St. Peter Street and Maplecrest Avenue area of St. Catharines since last month.
Yesterday, officers arrested two suspects near the 406 and Geneva Street.
During the arrest and subsequent search officers seized 51 grams of pink fentanyl, 95.9 grams of purple fentanyl, and 144.5 grams of fentanyl powder.
Police also seized over $4,100 in cash.
27 year old David McComb of St. Catharines has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
32 year old Keith Earle of St. Catharines faces the same charges and an additional charge of breach of recognizance.
Officials say Earle was wanted by Sudbury Police in relation to an armed robbery.
