Niagara police made a couple of drug arrests after a traffic stop.
Happened yesterday (Friday) on Victoria Avenue in Niagara Falls. Police found a large amount of marijauna in the vehicle.
That led to the search of two homes in St. Catharines -- one on Cushman Rd. the other on Queenston St.
In total, police seized 65 pounds of marijuana worth about $156,000 and $5,000 dollars in cash.
Thirty-six-year-old James Short and 41-year-old Troy Carthew, both of St. Catharines, are facing several drug charges.
