NRP to set up internet transaction zone at HQ

Niagara Regional Police will be setting up an internet transaction zone at their new police headquarters in the falls.

Police say they want to create a safe environment for people who are selling and buying goods online.

The safety zone will be set up in the visitor parking lot of the Valley Way detachment.

No firm date yet as to when the zone will be open to the public, although police say it will be soon.

The NRP already have a similiar area set up at the Welland police station.
