NRPS Chaplain Gary Page will be awarded the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship.
The Niagara Regional Police Service announced that tonight at 6:00, Page will receive the award.
Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Elizabeth Dowdeswell will present the medal in Toronto.
It recognizes individuals for their exceptional long-term efforts and outstanding contributions to the well-being of their communities.
Page has been dedicated to his community for years, including his role as an NRPS Chaplain, a volunteer with Victim Services Niagara, and a member of the NRPS Auxiliary Unit.
He's also worked with assisting refugees relocating to Niagara, and has worked with local youth.
