Just days after a serious motorcycle crash in Niagara Falls, police carried out a motorcycle safety and compliance intiative.
Happened Saturday on Regional Road 20 between Fonthill and Smithville
Police focused on things like helmets, handle bars, lighting and license plates.
Police stopped 20 bikes participating in a charity ride and all were in compliance with the Highway Traffic Act.
NRP say their goal is to address complaints about excessive motorcycle noise, aggressive driving and to make sure that motorcycles comply with law in an effort to raise awareness and reduce motorcycle collisions.
