New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is calling on President Trump to apologize to the man injured in last weeks confrontation with members of the Buffalo Police Riot squad.
Yesterday, President Trump tweeted a suggestion that 75 year old Martin Gugino was a member of ANTIFA and that his encounter with law enforcement could have been a setup.
On Thursday, a video showing Gugino being pushed to the ground and bleeding from his head during a demonstration quickly went viral.
The two officers involved were charged last weekend with second degree assault.
Governor Cuomo called the President's statement reprehensible and asked him to show some decency.
Gugino remains in hospital with a head injury.
