If you have travelled the Grand Island Bridge recently, you may be confused about whether or not you will get a bill for passing through the cashless toll on the span.
Well, you won't be billed and that has U.S. officials upset because of the money they are losing out from Ontario and Quebec travellers.
The cashless tolls went into effect in 2018 and there is still no agreement with either province's Transport Ministry to share data.
Right now thruway officials are counting on the honesty of Canadians to pony up by getting an EZ Pass or paying online or through the mail.
