Halton regional police say an Oakville hockey coach is facing charges in a child sex abuse investigation.
They say the 19-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and is charged with invitation to sexual touching, committing an indecent act, making sexually explicit material available to someone under 16, and uttering threats.
Police say the accused has been associated with the Minor Oaks Hockey Association in various capacities since 2014.
Investigators say the alleged victims were boys under the age of 16, and that one met the accused through the hockey association.
