At least one major manufacturer of clothing donation bins says it's revamping its designs after recent deaths.
The latest one came early this morning in Toronto when police say a 35-year-old woman became stuck inside.
Fire services had to cut through the bin to extract her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
RangeView Fabrication, which makes bins used by charities such as Diabetes Canada, says it's retrofitting all its bins to make them safer and working on new designs for the donation boxes.
