Niagara-on-the-Lake is preparing to open its pool and splash pad.
The pool in Memorial Park, and the Virgil Splash Pad, are set to reopen to the public on June 29th, 2020.
It won't be business as usual, as town staff will be putting in safety measures and limiting the amount of people using the facilities.
The Simcoe Park Wading Pool will remain closed for the time being, however, staff will continue to assess the possibility of its reopening.
The St. Davids Pool will be closed for the season. You can find more information by clicking here.
“Town Staff are looking forward to seeing residents and visitors utilize our Town pool and splash pad again this summer,” stated Kevin Turcotte, Acting Director of Operations. “Staff is committed to ensuring all appropriate health and safety guidelines and regulations, as laid out by the Province and Niagara Region Public Health, are adhered to in order to allow for the safe operation and use of both amenities.”
