One 3-day licence suspension has been issued following an Easter RIDE check by the NRP.
Approximately 650 vehicles were stopped during the check which took place Friday night in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls, and St. Catharines.
In addition to the suspended driver who registered an "Alert", 5 other drivers were also required to provide breath samples.
Another driver was required to complete Standard Field Sobriety Tests when there was concern they were impaired by drugs.
That driver successfully passed the tests and did not face further sanctions.
Officers issued a dozen tickets for various other offences as well.
