St. Catharines residents may get a knock on their door from someone campaigning for change, but she's not running for political office.
April Taylor is trying to raise $80,000 to build an accessible playground at Pine Grove Public School.
To do it, the Playground Committee is trying to muster up support for an online contest sponsored by the Aviva Community Fund:
If the playground gets in the top 10 of online voting Taylor says they will receive $15,000 guaranteed, with a shot at $100,000.
Right now the playground has upwards of 11,000 votes - thousands more than any other Niagara based project vying for the funding.
Voting wraps up tomorrow.
