Ontario residents hoping to pick up a 'Buck-A-Beer' have few options.
Actually, according to the LCBO website, they only have one.
Just four months after Premier Doug Ford promised cheap suds back in August, one of the two breweries that took up the challenge has decided to up their prices again.
Initially, Cool Brewery from Toronto and Barley Days Brewery from Picton began selling beer for just one dollar (plus the 10 cent deposit) while Loblaws also put its President's Choice beer on sale for a dollar for a limited time.
Now, Barley Days Loon Lager is retailing for $1.65 on the LCBO website again, leaving Cool Lager as the only remaining 'Buck-A-Beer.'
