Provincial health officials are reporting 257 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today, and seven new deaths.
Deputy Premier of Ontario and Health Minister Christine Elliott says 177 of the new cases stem from Windsor-Essex after 'extensive testing' of temporary workers over the weekend.
In a tweet, she says over 27,000 tests were processed yesterday.
The total number of cases in Ontario now sits at 34,911.
Of that overall number, 30,196 are considered resolved and 2,665 people have died.
