Get ready to flash a newly-designed driver's licence.
Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek says coming this fall, Ontario’s driver’s licence will have a new design, showcasing the province’s new brand and logo.
He says this will come at no cost to the taxpayer.
Yurek says it has been 12 years since the last redesign, but they should be refreshed every 5-7 years for security purposes.
The new licences will be rolled out in the fall, while redesigned licence plates will be available in February once the old supply is used up.
