Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford is campaigning in Niagara today and promising that a PC government would bring the slots back to the Fort Erie Race Track.
Ford campaigned at Portal Village Retirement Home in Port Colborne saying he loves horse racing and his government wants to see the track thrive once again.
He says today is a happy day for the area with the opening day at the track for its 121st season.
Ford will campaign at the Welland Legion tonight at 6pm.
CKTB welcomes candidates from the Niagara Falls riding which includes the honeymoon city, Fort Erie, and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
