CTV Toronto is reporting that  Premier Doug Ford will announce today he will be taking a regional approach to the next stage of the province's reopening plan.

CTV is quoting sources who say, the Stage 3 reopening will be done the same way as Stage 2 .

Niagara entered Stage 2 about a week after the majority of the province because of an outbreak of COVID-19 at a greenhouse operation in St. Catharines.

Toronto, Peel and Windsor Essex were delayed even longer.

Under Stage 3, all businesses will be allowed to reopen and restrictions eased on the size of social gatherings.

So that could mean casinos, indoor dining and gyms.

Large public gatherings, such as concerts and sporting events, are expected to remain off limits.
