Some of Ontario's educators are being redeployed to help struggling long-term care homes.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce announcing the government has agreed on a framework to send school board staff members into long-term care homes and other areas that need help.
CUPE education workers in Kenora are already working at a local hospital.
When asked if this means students will not return to the classroom in June, Lecce would not comment.
Lecce says 'we are asking public sector workers to step up and make a difference.'
