Kathleen Wynne's Liberals will get a chance to test their popularity in northern Ontario with the resignation of another of her cabinet ministers.
David Orazietti is leaving politics, meaning a byelection will be needed to fill his Sault Ste Marie riding.
The Community Safety and Correctional Services minister cited personal reasons when he made the announcement yesterday.
The riding was held by the NDP before Orazietti took it away in 2003.
Several of Wynne's cabinet ministers stepped down this summer.
