Ontario's Ministry of Health is reporting 293 new cases of COVID-19.
85 of the new cases are in Toronto, with 63 in Peel, and 39 in Ottawa.
This comes as the province is reportedly going to reduce social gathering limits in those three areas.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 70% of today’s new cases are in people under the age of 40.
53 people in Ontario are hospitalized with COVID-19, with 21 in ICU, and 12 in ICU on ventilators.
35,134 tests for the virus were completed in the last day, with 37,624 still under in investigation.
