Ontario is considering creating a health super agency, with the government's draft bill revealed Thursday by the N-D-P, who warn that the legislation as is could open the door to health-care privatization.
Health Minister Christine Elliott said the leaked document is an early version.
Elliott refused to rule out further health system privatization when asked repeatedly.
The section that NDP Leader Andrea Horwath warned would lead to privatization says that the super agency "may designate a person or entity, or a group of persons or entities, as an integrated care delivery system."
Yesterday the Ford government sparked controversy when it would not makeĀ guarantees on future of full day kindergarten past next year.
