An Ontario high school teacher has been found guilty of professional misconduct after an incident involving a public health nurse who was trying to vaccinate students.
A disciplinary committee with the Ontario College of Teachers says science teacher Timothy C. Sullivan is guilty of five acts that include abusing students psychologically or emotionally.
Sullivan was accused of professional misconduct for a 2015 incident at his Waterford high school, when the college says he shouted at the nurse and told students they could die if they take the vaccine.
The college is seeking a penalty that includes a suspension for one month and completing an anger management course.
