Police are reporting fewer deaths on OPP patrolled roadways.
According to the stats from last year, 333 people died in 296 crashes. In 2017, 343 people lost their lives in 304 collisions.
The steepest drop off came from the number of fatal crashes attributed to inattentive driving - last year there were only 55, down from 82 the year before.
Officials caution that while fatal crashes are down slightly, they did respond to more collisions overall.
