Many drivers needed a helping hand yesterday after their cars became stuck in snow drifts as plows and sanders fanned out across the city to deal with the icy conditions.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says police dealt with more than 350 crashes in a 24 hour span, with dozens more reporting directly to collision centres.
This morning, Niagara is still under a Blowing Snow Advisory from Environment Canada.
Drivers are encouraged to take their time as conditions on many local roadways are still quite slick.
