The opposition NDP taking the Ford government to task alleging another Conservative party insider has been given a plum job.
In a release the New Democrats say former Conservative candidate Cameron Montgomery has been hired as the new chair of the Education Quality and Accountablity Office, the agency responsible for standardized student testing.
The NDP say the Tories have made the chair's job a full time position along with a salary of 140 thousand dollars a year.
Up until now , the party says this was a part time job, which only paid per diems that amounted to less than five thousand dollars a year.
