St Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik used his annual State of the City address to focus on three key words, compassion, optimism and momentum.
Sendzik pointing to the recent addition of daily Go Train service, investments in Port Dalhousie and the rehabilitation of the piers as signs of sucess.
The Mayor noting the collective goal is to make the changes that will benefit future generations who will inherit a city and region that is much better than we have today.
He also spoke about opportunities to shape the future, including the provincial review of regional government and encouraged the community to make sure the region’s voice is heard with made-in-Niagara solutions.
