The owners of Wainfleet's Ringtail Ranch fear a new exotic bylaw being considered by the town may force it to close its doors.
A public meeting on the proposed bylaw was held earlier this week, a second meeting is set for November 30th during the town council meeting.
The owners of the animal rescue operation say while they believe residents should not be allowed to own exotic animals, like tigers, they fear the bylaw will specifically target them.
Niagara Public Health ordered the Ranch to close its doors to the public inĀ August over safety issues.
