Two people from Etobicoke are facing charges after an investigation into the sale of cocaine and fentanyl in Niagara Falls.
Niagara Regional Police first launched the investigation back in February, leading to a male suspect using several rental vehicles in the city.
Detectives made an arrest on Saturday and executed a search warrant, resulting in a second arrest and the seizure of more than 81 grams of cocaine worth approximately $8,100, a loaded semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, and $33,000 in cash.
42 year old Kareem Remey and 23 year old Diamond Wolfe are facing numerous weapons related charges and cocaine possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Remey was also charged with obstructing a peace officer and identity theft.
