Transport Canada has been called in after a skydiving mishap yesterday during a Hamilton D-Day event.
Police say a 44 year old man, who is an experienced skydiver from Toronto, jumped at 2,000 feet over the Hamilton airport when his main chute appeared to get tangled.
He deployed his secondary chute but it also failed to open properly, however, it did slow his fall around 100 feet.
The man was taken to hospital with what police say are non life threatening injuries.
