The Pathstone Foundation is asking for the public's help after being named one of the top ten finalists in a philanthropic contest.
The iA Financial Group's Canada-wide Philanthropic Contest runs until the end of this month and local residents can help by voting online, sharing, and retweeting.
One organization will win the grand prize of $125,000, while the second and third place charities will be awarded $50,000, and the remaining seven get $10,000.
Officials from Pathstone say they would use the funds to extend the hours of the Hear and Now Walk-In Clinic to support the community in light of recent suicides.
