St. Catharines' Mayor Walter Sendzik and members of his Invitational Golf Tournament committee helping out Pathstone's annual fundraiser.
During a specialĀ presentation yesterday, the Mayor handing Pathstone officials a cheque for $50,000 that will go toward the Mending Children's Minds Campaign for the family counselling room at the new Branscombe Mental Health Centre.
The new facility currently under construction on Fourth Avenue is set to open at the end of April.
As part of the Bell Let's Talk campaign, listeners to 105.7 EZ Rock, 97.7 HTZ FM and CKTB are also asked to help contribute to the fundraiser by texting " Fun" to 30333 or by visiting PathstoneMentalHealth.ca
Pathstone is the primary provider of mental health services in Niagara for children under the age of 18.
Services include counselling, crisis intervention, family preservation, high risk, early years, school based, residential, and mobile intensive treatment.
