We have received another update on the massive industrial fire in Port Colborne on Tuesday.
Fire officials giving residents in the area the green light to return to their usual outdoor activities.
The six-alarm blaze at Vinyl Works Canada broke out before 8am Tuesday morning sending massive amounts of black smoke into the sky.
While there are still hot spots, fire officials wil continue to monitor the site.
All air quality testing conducted by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change has returned within acceptable limits. Residents in the area can return to enjoying their usual outdoor activities.
Road closures have been lifted. Barber Drive & 2nd Concession are open to traffic.
Investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall, Niagara Regional Police Services and Port Colborne Fire & Emergency Services.
