A pedestrian has died after being hit on St. Paul Street West.
Niagara Regional Police closed the road between Fifth St. Louth and Seventh St. Louth shortly after the crash around 6 a.m. yesterday morning.
Officials believe a 33 year old man from Ajax was hit by a westbound 2017 Dodge Caravan driven by a 32 year old St. Catharines man.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries before being pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Dodge was not hurt.
