Pelham voters have chosen Marvin Junkin to be their new mayor.
Junkin beat out councillor Gary Accursi and Carla Baxter for the role by 2,100 votes.
Previous Mayor Dave Augustyn did not run again, instead running for regional council.
Junkin has lived in Pelham his whole life, and was first elected to Pelham Council back in 2014.
Following an in-camera meeting on September 5th 2017, Junkin resigned his post as city councillor.
He stated that he did not agree with the "unethical and dishonest" portrayal of the city's finances.
Pelham is comprised of 3 wards, with 2 councillors elected to each.
Ward 1 will be Mike Ciolfi and Marianne Stewart.
Ward 2 will be Ron Kore and John Wink.
Ward 3 will be Lisa Haun and Robert Hildebrandt.
There is also one regional councillor for Pelham.
Diana Huson will be Pelham's regional councillor, beating former mayor Dave Augustyn for the position.
Voter turnout in Pelham was 50.44%.
