People injured in a horrific bus crash in Ottawa are improving.
On Friday afternoon, a double decker city bus with approximately 90 people on board slammed into a shelter, killed three people and wounding 23 others.
An update from The Ottawa Hospital yesterday afternoon says the patients who had been listed as in critical condition are now in serious condition and therapy dogs have visited the victims.
Ottawa police officials say the investigation will be 'long, detailed and complex' as they look into the roadway, weather conditions, driver's actions, and the bus itself.
The bus driver was initially arrested but has since been released unconditionally pending the outcome of the investigation.
