An embattled St. Catharines politician has broken his silence after making headlines for an email he sent out that included a picture of a naked woman.
In an interview with Niagara This Week, Andy Petrowski again insisted the email was sent out by someone elseĀ who meddled with his regional iPad.
He told the paper he has no intention of divulging the person behind what he calls an accident.
Petrowski, who will meet with Regional Chair Alan Caslin today to discuss the controversy, says it was not intentional, but he does accept full responsiblity for what happened.
The councillor would not comment on a call for his resignation saying he will wait until he meets with Caslin to address that.
The embarrassing incident happened Monday when Petrowski responded to an email sent out by the region regarding upcoming Burgoyne Bridge closures.
His reply was accompanied by a photo of a nude woman and was sent to all 95 recipients.
