One day after fighting in court to have three integrity commissioner reports kept quiet, a St. Catharines councillor releasing all three on his own.
Andy Petrowski circulating the integrity commissioner reports to select local media, including 610 CKTB, after a judge told him there was no legal basis for an injunction to keep them private and ordered him and co-complainant Fort Erie Resident Fred Bracken to pay over $5000 in legal fees incurred by the region.
The reports into all three incidents determine Petrowski violated the Region's code of conduct and recommend he apologize.
One of the reports deals with an incident at a special council meeting in Pelham and remarks made to Mayor Dave Augustyn along with a Niagara region committee meeting, while the other two deal with conduct on social media.
The duo unsuccessfully attempted to argue the investigation and the region's Code of Conduct violate Petrowski's rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The reports were to be made public Friday morning ahead of the next regional council meeting on May 18th.
