St. Catharines regional councillor Andy Petrowski is back.
The controversial councillor was reinstated yesterday and will once again be allowed to sit on committees and boards.
The region has also returned his communication devices.
Regional council voted to reinstate him last night after Petrowski acquiesced and issued a formal written apology for comments made to another councillor as well as written remarks on his Twitter account.
The councillor was suspended in June after he was censored for sending an email that included a pornographic image, in response to an email sent by regional staff updating construction on the Burgoyne Bridge.
The suspension included his removal from regional committees, subcommittees, and Boards.
He was also ordered to take sensitivity training before being allowed back.
Petrowski says he has completed the training through meetings with Christian pastors.
