A new pilot project in Niagara Falls will try to position the city as an age-friendly community.
Seniors will be able to ride Niagara Falls Transit for free starting on September 1st.
Councillor Wayne Campbell says he got the idea while on vacation in Costa Rica and witnessed a similar initiative in place for their senior citizens.
The program for residents 60 and over will run for three months and also aims to provide a better understanding of rider usage patterns.
