Members of the Niagara Regional Police are celebrating after breaking ground on the new building in St. Catharines.
The ceremonial shovels were brought out in anticipation of the new 31,000 square foot facility on Welland Ave that will house patrol units, detectives, and administrative offices.
The $21 million building will also feature a public front desk, community room, and collision reporting centre.
Construction is expected to wrap up in September of 2020.
