Niagara police are asking car repair shops to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a hit and run in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
It happened December 29th around 8:30 p.m on East-West Line near Concession 2 Road.
Police say a 48-year-old cyclist was struck by a vehicle travelling westbound.
The driver failed to stop and didn't offer any assistance to the injured cyclist. He suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries
The vehicle is a either a silver Chevrolet Cobalt, 2005 to 2010 model, or a Pontiac Pursuit 2005 to 2009.
Police say the car sustained damage to the right front corner. The bumper will be cracked and missing a piece of the plastic molding.
The right passenger side mirror will also be missing.
Police are asking any automotive repair shops who fixed this vehicle matching this description within the past two weeks or are currently working on a similar vehicle to contact them immediately.
