A man swept over the Horseshoe Falls in the early morning hours has sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after 4 a.m. on July 9th, Niagara Parks Police Service was informed there was a person in crisis.
The reports are that he climbed a retaining wall and jumped into the river.
The man was then swept over the falls and later discovered sitting on a rock at the edge of the water below.
He was transported to hospital for further assessment.
Privacy laws prohibit the release of the male's identity and officials say no further details on the incident will be released.
