Niagara police are looking for information after a girl was approached on her way to school this morning in Niagara Falls.
The NRP say it happened during the morning commute when a female student was walking to school in the area of Saint Paul High School.
She says she was approached from the rear by a dark coloured older model pickup truck with a short box, silver rims and dark tinted windows.
She says the truck stopped beside her, and a male voice was heard saying "Do you want some candy?".
The female student was not harmed or approached any further by the suspect.
Police say they want to make the public aware of the incident and take the opportunity to remind parents/guardians to discuss safety measures with their children.
Detectives from 2 District are investigating the incident and are requesting that anyone with information contact them at 905-688-4111 ext 2200.
